How We Compare Prices

Mart scans prices from Daraz, Pickaboo, Chaldal, and other major e-commerce platforms in Bangladesh — daily. We do this so you never have to open five tabs and compare prices manually again.
How the comparison engine works:
Our system crawls product listings from partner platforms every 24 hours. For each product, we pull the current selling price, shipping cost, and seller rating. We then normalize the data so you see an apples-to-apples comparison.
What we factor in:
- Base price — the listed selling price before shipping
- Shipping cost — some platforms offer free shipping on certain items, others charge per-item
- Estimated delivery time — faster is not always better if it costs 500 BDT more in shipping
- Seller reliability score — aggregated from platform ratings and return rates
- Return policy generosity — platforms with easier returns score higher
The result is a single comparison card for every product showing you the true total cost across platforms.
Price history tracking:
We do not just show today's price. Mart stores 90 days of price history for every tracked product. This means you can see whether a product's price has been stable, trending down, or was recently inflated before a sale event. The price history graph on each product page uses green for genuine low points and red for prices above the 90-day average.
How often do prices change?
On average, prices on Bangladeshi e-commerce platforms change every 3-5 days. Flash sales and campaign events (11.11, Black Friday, Eid sales) cause significant short-term drops. Mart flags these events so you know when a discount is campaign-driven versus a permanent price reduction.
We currently track over 50,000 products across 8 platforms. New platforms and product categories are added monthly. If you want us to track a specific product, use the Request Tracking button on any search results page.
